Here is Matt mostly drifting. You start out on the baby pad where you learn just how to circle a cone and then go into figure eights and other harder patterns. Matt moved on to the School track.
Our JZX100 Chariot. The steering wheel is on the right but it wasn’t actually that big of an issue.

Starting out on a wet skidpad, easier to drift on wet than dry.

Check out Daniel Messmer’s S15 at lunch. Daniel was our instructor, he’s from Australia but he was super awesome and very patient.

Finish the day with some ridealongs at North track with our instructor, Daniel.

Beautiful fall themed dinner at the onsen. Everything was delicious.

History of Sansuiso, which I’m sure would be very interesting if I could read. Basically started out in 1950, made it through WWII, and has been a staple in the town since.

Afterwards, we were able to hit up the hot springs which really really helped after racing. They give you yukata and a belt to change in to for the hot springs. You have to wash yourself before you get in so you don’t dirty the water for others. Yes you do not wear clothes into the springs, nor a bathing suite. You are naked with strangers but that’s part of the culture here and no one cares. Went to bed comfortably.
