In Kyoto, on the hunt for a Gigi plushy because we love black cats, we didn’t have much luck. Still, they had great shops. And so many hills/stairs.

The most adorable Pikachu/ Pokemon Center Kyoto on the look out for the elusive Jigglypuff.

Fantastic lunch in the basement of an office building, only $12 each. You can easily find food in any of these places.

Making our own rings! Cutest couples date and a really good substitute for our larger rings. You had to choose the material, the width, then the pattern. You superheated the metal rings up, then put them into water. Did the first polish, then you hammers in the pattern with a hammer until it was your ring size. Polish again and then we handed off the rings to the employee to engrave our marriage date (03/13/2020) into the inside. (Our best friends who were also in Japan though this was awesome so they also did it later after us)

Strugglebussing crane games, we didn’t do great and kept having to ask for help from the employees. They’ll reset the items for you if it gets super stuck. We did get both though.

Did a lot of walking this day, went back to the hotel to just lay there after doing some more shopping in random shops.
